My name is Pamela Cooper. I live in West Centennial and work out of my home and my Van. I raised two boys as a single mom.

My son Tyler has been an asset to the business for a few years now and at this time is doing most of the maintenance. He is a total animal lover and truly cares about the welfare of the fish. He is very creative, knowledgeable, and reliable hard worker.

I have lived in the Denver area since I was 12 at which time my father retired from the Army and settled here. He was a Denver native as was my grandmother. I am a graduate from East high school and a true lover of Colorado.

 

Taking care of aquariums provides a much-enjoyed creative outlet or me, and nurtures my fascination and love for nature and animals. I have always been drawn to anything to do with water. I love what I do, and take pride in old fashion ethics and values. I am very conscientious in my work and have had most of my clients for many years.

I started “Pet Set and Tidy Tank" in 1992 as a two division business with a partner. We did professional in home pet sitting when people went out of town as well as aquarium maintenance. I bought my partner out two years later, dropped the pet sitting division, and became just Tidy Tank. I educated my self further about freshwater aquatics through research, reading, talking with knowledgeable aquarium experts (and a little bit of trial and error). I have taken care of thousands of aquariums over the years including many refurbishes and set ups in both homes and businesses.

I had the opportunity to design and maintain a 500-gallon "fireplace" aquarium for MTV's "Real World" series that was filmed in Denver in 2006.
